When you are looking for a home office phone, the Panasonic Phone Systems are a great option.
There are many different products from Panasonic to choose from and the company’s experience with office systems is legendary.
Depending on your needs, Panasonic offers you a product range beginning with a standard analog, corded phone and ending with VOIP, cloud phone solutions.
About every need a small or home business could have, Panasonic has you covered.
Panasonic Phone Systems: KX-TS3282B corded speakerphone
For example the Panasonic KX-TS3282B 2-Line Expandable Corded Phone with Data Port. It is a high-quality standard phone designed for small business and offers landlines and functions like mute or pause, hold, and redial, speaker, call restriction and intercom.
This phone can be extended with up to seven add-on units like handsets and can even be connected to your PC via the data port.
Three-way conference calls are no problem for this reliable office workhorse. And the display offers all the information – like caller ID – you need to succeed in your home business phone communications.

Some thoughts about cordless Panasonic Phone Systems
Before you continue reading, we absolutely do recommend a desktop phone with a cord, because for us it is not proven that the pulsed radiation a cordless phone emits is absolutely risk-free.
So personally we try to use corded phones as much as possible. Yes, Eco-DECT reduces the radiation when possible, but a corded handset does not radiate anything, so it is preferable to us.
With all the WLAN, LTE, 3G, radio, Bluetooth etc. waves in our office and homes we try to add as little extra waves to the mix as possible.
At least make sure that the model you buy does not emit radio waves when it is sitting in the base station (and remember that the more extra handsets you own, the more waves you add to the mix – a charge station will not stop the phone from staying connected to the base).
Panasonic Phone Systems: KX-TG4732B DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone
In case you prefer cordless phones, Panasonic has you covered, too.
Though we believe that a hands-free corded desk speakerphone is the best choice.
And the Panasonic KX-TG4732B DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone with Answering System might be exactly what you were looking for. This phone works with DECT 6.0 Plus transmission standard for clarity and security (clear voice and hard to hack), you can add up to six handsets, the handsets come with in-built speakerphone, conference call features, answering machine, phonebook and caller ID.
- Frequency – DECT 6.0, 5.8 GHz, etc.
- 2 Cordless Handsets
- Single line
- All-Digital Answering System Included
- Amplified Handset Volume with Dedicated Volume Key
Panasonic even implemented the Eco-Mode, by that reducing the emissions and saving battery life.
Con: No desktop speakerphone, though you for sure can use it as a desktop phone replacement. You can also only handle one line, so for your private phone, you need an extra phone.
Panasonic KX-TGA405B Range Extender for DECT 6.0 Plus Cordless Phone Systems
Some Panasonic models (the Panasonic KX-TG7500, KX-6500 and KX-4000 series cordless phone systems) can also be extended with a Range extender so that you can also use these phone systems not only in or close to your home office but even from your garden or porch. Nice way to make deals.
- Also sold separately as an accessory
- Included with select 2010 models
- Compatible with Panasonic KX-TG7500, KX-6500 and KX-4000 series cordless phone systems
- For DECT 6.0 Plus Cordless Phone Systems

Panasonic VOIP/Cloud Communications
Panasonic also offers new services and technology based on the internet, or better communication solutions based on the so-called “cloud”: Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP). You can even subscribe to a VOIP service from Panasonic called the Panasonic Cloud Service (http://www.panasoniccloud.com), which promises to integrate your whole communications in one “box”.
ATTENTION: The Panasonic Cloud Service is a monthly subscription with monthly costs. The phone will not work without this subscription!
To use this Cloud System, you need to buy special Panasonic hardware, like the Panasonic Cloud Business Phone System KX-TGP551T04. With this product, you can use the Panasonic Cloud features and let them help you to make your home office life easier.
Con: None of the Panasonic Phone Systems support other VOIP providers, for example, Skype. At least we were not able to find a phone from Panasonic to support 3rd party VOIP providers.
